Sony Store Vita Launch Events Will Have Developers On Hand, Vitas to Play in Line

A few Sony Store locations are getting special launch events that include "the most fun line you've ever stood in!"
It's a good guess that most people that want a Vita have already preordered one from Amazon or GameStop, but Sony is making the whole midnight launch line thing seem just a little bit cooler.
Select Sony Stores will have entertainment on hand to keep you going while waiting for the release. Hostesses will come around with Vita systems for you to play, and development teams will be on hand to talk about the hardware and software side of things with you.
The biggest event is, not surprisingly, taking place in New York. The first Vita sold will be handed over by none other than CEO Jack Tretton. You can find a full list of stores on the PlayStation Blog.
