Put yourself at the centre of new worlds by slipping on a visor-style virtual reality headset, currently in development by Sony Computer Entertainment.
Get other players involved. PlayStation VR creates two sets of images: one for the headset and one for a TV, so everyone can join in.
Hear details above, below and around you with stunning clarity thanks to 3D audio technology.
The new PlayStation VR headset is equipped with a 5.7 inch 1920 X RGB X 1080 resolution OLED display. This new screen expands the field of view and enables low persistence, removing motion blur.
120hz Refresh Rate
Games for PlayStation VR can be rendered at 120fps. When combined with the OLED display’s high refresh rate and the power of PS4, it means PS VR outputs amazingly smooth visuals.
Super Low Latency
Low latency is crucial for a great VR experience, and we've reduced latency to less than 18ms, about half of what the first PlayStation VR prototype had. It helps to deliver a sense of presence and comfort to players.
