Day one update is live and systems are running fine.
Multiple reports surfaced Friday evening of customers receiving Xbox One's early, thanks in part to Target's shipping department. While some are attempting to resell the new console, which is still under press embargo (12th) and is due to release on the 22nd, one lucky user and Xbox fan has unleashed a ton of information on his Twitter feed.
Probably the biggest news to come amid shots of the customizable UI, game and app pages, complete with download sizes, (43GB for NBA2K14) is the news that the terrifying day one patch is already live and only 500mb in size. Post-update this user has access to a hard disc version of 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' and the 3GB download of 'Killer Instinct.'
The user did upload an un-boxing video to YouTube, but it was pulled due to "a copyright claim by Microsoft."
Later ,while awaiting the 34GB 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' install, whihc began automatically upon inserting the disc and became playable at 50%, the user tried to access the TV app.
Here are some details on the A/V settings:
"Here are the display and sound options: Res 1080p or 720p, HDMI or DVI, Color Depth 24 30 or 36 Bits per pixel,TV RGB limited or PC RGB full"
"And now sound options, HDMI: Stereo uncompressed, 5.1 uncompressed, 7.1 uncompressed, DTS digital surround, Optical: StereoUnCom DTS Digital"
Around 1AM EST, the user's Twitter feed was locked due to excessive tweeting, but he was able to continue posting on other feeds.
Around 3:30AM EST, the user was console banned, and around 10AM EST, Major Nelson responded to the wrongful ban tweets by stating that he would get it sorted out.
