Another Brick In The Wall: New Trailer And Details For 'Minecraft: Story Mode''s Debut

Release dates. Special premiere events. Giant blocky octopi.

Today, Telltale have released a metric ton of info for the upcoming 'Minecraft: Story Mode', in which pixelly Patton Oswalt (or his female counterpart) and friends must contact a group a legedary heroes to save the world again after an unholy terror is unleashed.

For starters, we have specific release dates nailed down. The game's first episode, 'The Order of the Stone' will be released on October 13th for PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3, and PC, with the iOS/Android ports coming two days later on the 15th, Retail Season Pass discs, which will have Episode 1, but also provide access to the rest of the season as it comes will also be released on October 27th for the consoles. There's also WiiU and PS Vita ports coming, but no dates set for that yet.

Furthermore, if you'll happen to be in the general vicinity of Los Angeles on October the 12th, Telltale will be holding what they're dubbing "The World's Largest Let's Play" for the game live at the Arclight Cinerama Dome, where the audience will be making those trademark Telltale hard decisions on the fly in person.
