Game is now first main game to drop M rating.
The ESRB has issued its official rating for 'Halo 5', and it's a surprising T for Teen.
Remain calm, though. The description they give doesn't sound terribly dissimilar from its predecessors, and, in fact, one of the major insults used an example for harsh language ("Your father was a filthy colo and your mother was a hole in the wall!") is just plain filthy. What it more than likely means is a much-needed shift in standards from the ESRB. The 'Halo' games have never been particularly graphic games, and much of the time, the M has always felt a little harsh. Shooting aliens and robots with laser guns, where the blood is fairly scarce is no longer cause for alarm, and really, never was. If the much more brutal Destiny gets to skate with a T, so can this, and with no change in content. You're welcome, 13 years olds. Save your fake ID for when 'Doom' comes out.
