'Super Mario Run' Clears 40 Million Downloads

'Super Mario Run' Performs extremely well in its first week.
Despite having launched just a few days ago on December 15th, Nintendo has announced that 'Super Mario Run' surpassed 40 million downloads in its first 4 days on the iOS App Store, making it the top-ranking free game in 140 countries and regions. The game is also in the top 10 grossing apps in 100 countries.
Though the game is available as a free download, this will only allow players to try a few of the game's stages before prompting users to pay $10 to unlock everything else in the game.
'Super Mario Run' is currently available on iOS, an Android release is due in 2017.
