'Final Fantasy' 30th Anniversary Opening Ceremony Due on January 31st

Big announcements on the way.

Today, Square Enix has announced that they will be holding an event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of 'Final Fantasy' in Tokyo on January 31st. The studio will host talks with special guests and show off projects that will commemorate the anniversary of the series, so it's safe to assume that we'll hear about some big new announcements.

Only a select few Square Enix members in Japan will be invited to attend, but the event is set to be livestreamed worldwide.

There have been a fair few rumors flying around suggesting re-releases of various entries in the series, and even collections of almost all previously released major entries. Still, whatever is announced, it should be exciting to see what SE has in store for fans.
