New 'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifices' Trailer Focuses on Sound Design

Documentary goes in-depth on auditory hallucination.

Ninja Theory has released a new trailer for their upcoming PS4 action title, 'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.' The video focuses on sound design, which is a major part of the game due to the main character, Senua, hearing voices in her head. It's something that the team at Ninja Theory had to do a lot of prepwork on, as they know that tackling mental illness has to be done tactfully.

Check out the almost 10-minute long video below. It goes deep into auditory hallucination and the stigma that surrounds it. It's great to see a developer touch on such topics, and to make sure they do so properly.

'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice' is being independently published by Ninja Theory and is expected to release in 2017 for PS4 and PC.
