New, Slimmer PS4, Officially Announced at $299

Will replace the current PS4.
At the PlayStation Meeting on September 7th, Sony finally came clean on the slim PS4. This new, slimmer PS4, will come with a $299 price point ($379.99 CAD), and it will replace the launch model.
It's coming next week on September 15th. The new PS4 will be offered in 500GB and 1TB options.
From Sony "we've reduced volume by 30 percent, weight by 16 percent, and power consumption by 28 percent."
