With the return of 'Rock Band' coming this October, one ever-present demand has been for a digital version of 'Rock Band 4,' and Harmonix has obliged. As stated by Harmonix for the PS4, "Rock Band 4 software will work with most previous PlayStation Rock Band and third party wireless music game controllers and microphones, as well as your Rock Band DLC previously purchased for PlayStation, meaning that PlayStation gamers will be ready to rock when the game is available on October 6!" With so many existing instruments floating about, a digital PS4 version makes a lot of sense. (Not to mention all of the DLC carryover from the PS3.)
There are even some bonus incentives for preordering 'Rock Band 4' digitally on the PS4. PlayStation Plus members who order will get 10 bonus songs for free at launch. Also, digital PS4 preorders will get PS Plus members an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme that will be available upon ordering.
