Editing is all about the GamePad.
This generation, Nintendo came around to the idea that their classic games made for some amazing community creations on platforms like the PC. As a result, the big N began to produce games like the 'NES Remix' that both mixed up and showcased Nintendo's back catalog. With 'Super Mario Maker,' Nintendo is going one further and really letting players create their own gameplay using the classic Mario toolset.
Here is what it looks in action:
For this would-be platformer, the GamePad screen is going to be key. While the craziest creations can be expected from veteran level-builders, Nintendo has a plan to help new players get ideas through accompanying documentation and through a graduated rollout of certain features starting on September 12th.
