Explore a post-pandemic New York.
Continuing on with its penchant for unconventional, interactive advertising, Ubisoft has set up a Google Maps-inspired interactive webpage for its upcoming title 'Tom Clancy's The Division.'
With the interactive tool, fans can explore the New York City setting of 'The Division,' which sees the iconic area torn apart by the devastating epidemic that forms the backbone of the game's story. Fans can check out streetside views of how New York neighborhoods like Chelsea Pier and West 23rd Street will look in the desolate style of 'The Division.'
In every map location, there are also a handful of buttons that open up short text boxes about the world of 'The Division' and some of the game's mechanics. Prospective players can learn a little bit more about the game's story and systems like weapon modding while exploring the city in advance of the game's release.
The map also shows four boxes at the bottom, only one of which, labeled "RPG Basics," is filled in, meaning more stuff to do in the map is likely on the way.
Ubisoft also revealed the minimum PC specs required for 'The Division,' which you can find on the UbiBlog.
