The Gallian Militia rolls out on PS4.
Sega has announced today that 'Valkyria Chronicles Remastered', the PS4 version of the critically acclaimed PS3 strategy RPG will be heading to the US and Europe this Spring. There will be both a retail and digital edition, and it'll be priced at $30. The remaster promises 1080p/60 fps and also will include all DLC from the PS3 version, such as Hard EX Mode, 'Edy's Mission,' 'Selvaria's Mission,' and Challenge of the Edy Detachment.'
This looks to be a solid remaster of an already gorgeous title, though I personally feel the price is higher than it should be. The PC version of the game is fantastic (review here), runs amazing, and is also $10 cheaper. Still, here's hoping that this leads to us getting the recently announced 'Valkyria: Azure Revolution' as well.
Sega has also revealed that pre-orders and limited first run copies of 'Valkyria Chronicles Remastered' in the Americas will come in the collectible "Squad 7 Armored Case."
In terms of visuals, the game has carried forward a stylized and evocative art style. Here are some shots of the new PS4 version:
