Discounts abound on 'Portal 2,' 'Modern Warfare 3,' and entire product catalogs.
PC gamers have to put up with a lot. We get lousy ports of console games, we have to wait longer for titles on occasion and we have to shell out a crapton of money for our gaming rigs. Aside from an arguably better gaming experience, one of the things that makes it all worthwhile is a good old fashioned Steam sale.
Steam's summer sale, which just launched today, includes some massive discounts on major titles. You can pick up 'Portal 2' for just $5, 'Total War: Shogun 2' for $7.50, 'Terraria' for $2.50 and 'Modern Warfare 3' at $30.
Want a huge pack of games for a tiny investment? Try the 2K pack, which includes 'Bioshock 2,' 'Borderlands,' 'Duke Nukem Forever' and four more titles for just $50. Not enough? How about 'Skyrim,' 'Fallout: New Vegas' with DLC, and 'Brink' with DLC for $50 in the Bethesda pack. And of course, if you somehow don't own all the games yet, get all the 'Half-Life,' 'Left 4 Dead,' 'Portal' and 'Counter-Strike' games for just $50.
More deals will be coming every day until July 22nd.
