The transistion from jump-scare horror to fantasy RPG is a bit rocky.
'FNaF World,' the RPG spin-off of the 'Five Night's at Freddy's' series released on Steam about a month before its original release date, and some important features weren't implemented into the game as a result, developer Scott Cawthon said.
Cawthon explained in a Steam community post that he feels he released the RPG "too early," forgetting to include "features that any good RPG would have," like character stats pages.
"I got too eager to show the things that were finished, that I neglected to pay attention to the things that weren't," he wrote.
Cawthon notes that he will continue to add in features to the game, and some, such as an overworld map and descriptions of attack commands, have reportedly already been added at the time of this writing.
