Comes with simplified navigation and chat improvements.
The third installment in the 'StarCraft II' trilogy, 'Legacy of the Void,' is quickly approaching, and Blizzard has detailed what changes to the user interface players will be able to expect once the game hits Patch 3.0.
One of the main changes to the UI is making chat a more prominent and easily accessible function in the game's menu. Chat now has a permanent space on the right side of the player's screen so that it will never interfere with the menu navigation going on in the left side of the screen. Switching between chat channels is simplified via a drop-down menu on the chat window, which will also alert players with notifications if activity is happening in one channel while the player is away in another.
Menu navigation has been localized entirely within the top-left corner of the screen, allowing players to quickly get to where they want to be in the menu. The Arcade menu has also been overhauled, placing map info directly in the menu and making it easier for players to browse quickly through different games.
