Selected users able to roll firmware back to current version.
The PlayStation 4 feature list will expand once the new 3.00 system firmware is released. (See here.) But before then, Sony is looking for PS4 users to beta test. The program is set to start in early September, but now is the time to sign-up. (Sign-up here.)
Unfortunately, signing up does not guarantee entry into the program.
What is good is that beta users will have the option to roll-back to the current system release version (2.57) at any time during the beta.
