A titan in the entertainment industry.
'Grand Theft Auto V' was and is such a big game that we reviewed it twice in different years (review here and here). As part of Take-Two's good, but not profitable first quarter earnings (see here), the 2K and Rockstar Games parent revealed that 'GTA V,' which started on the PS3 and 360, before making it the PS4 and Xbox One, and finally, the PC, has now sold more than 54 million copies.
This 54 million copies sold number has no doubt been helped by the game's free online content updates (in contrast to paid DLC, though of course, there are Shark Cards), and Rockstar's support of character transfers for 'GTA Online' has probably been key to a large number of double-dippers.
