Harran countryside is a not small..
Techland & Warner Bros.' 2015 winner, 'Dying Light' (review here), is going to be growing by leaps and bounds when 'Dying Light: The Following' releases. The expansion will take Kyle Crane to a hazardous outback, one that is a large as all of the base game's maps combined. This area is ruled and run by a zombie cult, and players will have to figure out how to navigate this new playground.
That will mean driving dune buggies, a vehicle so central to this expansion that it has its own skill tree. It also means navigating the cultists' loyalties.
From producer Tymon SmektaĆa, "Gamescom 2015 was our first chance to let people play Dying Light: The Following so I was a bit nervous. But so many positive reactions really showed me we made the right decision to work on this expansion. With its new map and far-reaching gameplay additions, it feels like we’ve hit the sweet spot for what players are expecting from us."
'Dying Light: The Following' will be free for current Season Pass owners, and will also be available to purchase as DLC for non-Season Pass 'Dying Light' owners at a price of $14.99.
The expansion is expected for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
