'Elder Scrolls Online' Introduces Thieves Guild In Next DLC

Bethesda has announced the next DLC pack coming to the 'Elder Scrolls Online' MMO, the Thieves Guild.

A staple of the 'Elder Scrolls' franchise, the Thieves Guild in 'ESO' will be based in a brand-new area for players to explore. Hew's Bane will open up in southern Hammerfell for anyone who picks up the upcoming content pack. The area includes Abah's Landing, which will house the Thieves Guild headquarters.

As a member of the Thieves Guild, the player will snatch and grab his way through Tamriel while avoiding the justice of the Iron Wheel mercenaries. In addition to the new content, quests, and looting opportunities, the Thieves Guild DLC pack will include a 12-player trial, fresh bosses, a Thieves Guild passive skill line, and a new Thieves Guild wardrobe for those who just can't keep their sticky fingers to themselves.

If you don't feel like springing for the whole content pack, Bethesda also announced an accompanying patch for the vanilla game that will release alongside the Thieves Guild DLC. This update includes balance fixes, better grouping, a 64-bit client, and other polish-related upgrades.
