Check Out Kojima Productions' EVA Icon in Full Profile View[teaser]Exclusive to the PS4, followed by the PC.[/teaser] Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions are very slowly doling out information on Kojima's first post-Konami project, which is set for PS4 and PC. Today, it's the character Ludens, who is decked out in an "extra-vehicular activity (EVA) creative suit." This character, who hails from the future on some desperate frontier, is the same visage used in the Kojima Productions logo. Ludens looks interesting enough for a teaser, but he will probably still wind up using a Sony Walkman. Source: Kojima ProductionsPosted Tue May 17, 2016 at 10:27 AM PDT by: -
Could It Be 'Unravel 2?' - EA & Coldwood Interactive Have a New Project in the Works[teaser]'Unravel 2' would be welcome.[/teaser] One of E3 2015's best moments was the introduction of Yarny, the star of 'Unravel.' That game was the first collaboration between Coldwood Interactive and Electronic Arts, and at the time of the announcement, EA cited the desire to have a standout creative/small scale project (something akin to 'Ori and the Blind Forest' and 'Life Is Strange'). Now, EA has announced an extension to the partnership. That means a new project. The question then is that is this 'Unravel 2' or is this something else altogether? Could it be an EA Play/E3 reveal? One hting is for sure, this is likely a multiplatform game that will be featured in EA Access and Origin Access. Source: EAPosted Tue May 17, 2016 at 09:46 AM PDT by: -

'Call of Duty: Black Ops' Comes to the Xbox One via 360 Backwards Compatibility[teaser]Early 360 splash reveals a big deal.[/teaser] Treyarch's 'Call of Duty: Black Ops' remains a series favorite, and now, the game will make its Xbox One debut. Today, via 360 backwards compatibility, the original 'Black Ops' will be playable on the Xbox One. This means 360 disc and digital copies. The digital version is also on sale for Xbox Live Gold members ($9.99). 'Black Ops' has been one of the most requested titles since the 360 b/c began, and because it's using the 360 b/c rather than a remastering, the multiplayer will be shared with the rest of the 360 player base. That also means more maps. Order from Amazon Order from Amazon Source: Major NelsonPosted Tue May 17, 2016 at 06:53 AM PDT by: -

'Overwatch' Taking One-Strike Stance With Cheaters[teaser]Aim-bots beware.[/teaser] Blizzard's team shooter 'Overwatch' is a little more than a week out from launch, and the publisher is giving all players a fair warning about what awaits those who try to play unfairly. In a blog post, a Blizzard community manager spelled out that 'Overwatch' players who are found to be cheating, hacking, or otherwise using third-party software to try to get an artificial leg up on the other players will face a permanent ban from the game, plain and simple. The post continues by giving players an email address which they can use to report those they believe to be cheating. There will also be a "report" menu in the actual game client that players can use. Blizzard warns that in-game playback footage can sometimes cause player movements to snap, giving the appearance of unfair gameplay when, in fact, it was just a glitch of the replay. The publisher notes that community-captured footage, though helpful, will never be the sole criterion by which cheaters are identified. 11-Minute 'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter' Gameplay Video Shows Off Open World, Character Switching[teaser]The game is afoot.[/teaser] We're a month away from the next installment of the Sherlock Holmes series of games, 'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter.' To give players a short introduction to some of the new mechanics, the PlayStation YouTube channel has released an 11-minute gameplay video for the upcoming title. Much of the gameplay should look familiar for those who played 2014's 'Crimes & Punishments.' One new feature that is highlighted is the semi-open world feel that this new title is taking. Players will be able to explore the streets of London around 221B Baker Street, and Sherlock will have to ask around to find his way to a crime scene when he travels to a new location. Another gameplay feature in 'The Devil's Daughter' is character switching. When Sherlock recruits his street urchin accomplice Wiggins to tail a target, control switches over to the boy so the player can follow the mark themselves. Throughout the 11 minutes, the gameplay video touches on the different information gathering tools at the player's disposal as Sherlock walks through different aspects of the game's opening mystery. You can check out the full gameplay video below. 'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter' will be available June 10. Source: PlayStationPosted Sun May 15, 2016 at 01:09 PM PDT by: -
Duo Of 'Attack On Titan' Game Trailers Show Off Battle Mechanics[teaser]Playing well with others is always helpful when taking down murderous titans.[/teaser] The 'Attack on Titan' video game will be coming to Western platforms in August, and publisher Koei Tecmo has released a pair of "battle trailers" that highlight different aspects of the game's giant-slaying combat system. The game has players zipping around a deserted cityscape using the Omni-Directional Mobility gear seen in the source material. Once players master this means of getting around, they'll be able to quickly move in to weaken enemy titans by slicing off limbs before going in for the kill shot at the nape of the neck. Players will have to keep an eye on their reserves of gas, which powers the ODM gear, as well as on the durability of their blades. If either runs low, players can always seek out other characters to get some refills. The second battle trailer focuses on teamwork. Players can create a team of up to four to help them in the fight against the titans. Players can also invest some time in strengthening their team by going after side missions. You can watch both trailers below. 'Attack on Titan' will launch August 30 as a physical game for PS4 and Xbox One and as a digital download for PS3, Vita, and Steam.
