'Elite Dangerous: Horizons' Hits the Xbox One on June 3rd, 'The Engineers' Hits PC on May 26th[teaser]The 'Elite Dangerous: Horizons' upgrade will soon be priced at $29.99.[/teaser] On PC, 'Elite: Dangerous' is making serious headway into its second season, 'Horizons.' On My 26th, 'The Engineers' is coming to the PC version. With it comes loot and crafting as well as persistent NPCs. Meanwhile on the Xbox One, June 3rd will be a big day. 'Elite Dangerous: Horizons' will come to the Xbox One, and it will have both 'Planetary Landings' and 'The Engineers.' For 'Elite Dangerous' owners, 'Horizons' will soon have a new price of $29.99. For new players, there will be an 'Elite Dangerous - Commander Deluxe' edition, which at $59.99, has 'Elite Dangerous,' 'Horizons,' and the 'Commander Pack' of 18 paint jobs. 'Planetary Landings' and 'The Engineer' expansions are just two of the five expansions promised for 'Horizons.' But of all these announcements, the best is likely the free updates coming to all versions of the game on May 26th. The update will introduce a new mission system among some other important changes. We Now Know The Title Of This Year's Big 'Destiny' Expansion[teaser]First image, and details.[/teaser] 'Destiny's been undergoing quite the behind-the-scenes shakeup since January, and we haven't seen what shape the new management will take. Until today, that is. Thanks to a leak at Reddit, independently verified by Kotaku, we have our first look at what appears to be a cover image, and the first preliminary details from the new expansion coming this fall for 'Destiny', which is officially titled 'Rise of Iron'. According to Kotaku's sources, the expansion will include a new Raid, and will be larger than the previous two expansions. Considering 'Taken King' is virtually a brand new game all its own, and 'Destiny 2' is still coming next year, that sounds dubious, but not out of the realm of possibility. As you can see in the image, it's definitely related somehow to the Iron Banner stuff in the game, with Lord Saladin involved, but it's unclear how exactly yet. We'll likely be hearing all the details in a few weeks at E3. Source: Kotaku, RedditPosted Fri May 20, 2016 at 06:43 AM PDT by: -
You Had One Job: Statistics Released For 'Hitman's First Elusive Target[teaser]Half of you blew it.[/teaser] Io Interactive have released a fun little infographic today pertaining to 'Hitman's first Elusive Contract, timed special missions where players had a limited period to hunt and kill a special target, in this case, a forger. And here's the results of all that collective hunting. So, what have we learned here? Well, first off, a smidge over half of all players were in fact able to take the forger down. Good for y'all. Only 10% of players managed to do it and earn a Silent Assassin rating in the process, but, hey, nobody's perfect. The insane part is that it only took six minutes after the mission unlocked for somebody to take him down. Basically, that person is probably meditating in a peaceful meadow somewhere, while arranging their controller in a ritual manner on a white sheet. Probably not, but let me have the illusion. Either way, hope everybody had fun, because Io is still collating the data from the first contract to maybe improve on it for the next one, whenever that is. For now, everybody can look forward to the game's third full episode, set in Marrakech, which they'll be announcing a release date for next week, and will be playable at E3. 'Halo 5's Coming To PC.....Kinda.[teaser]Special Forge mode to hit later this year.[/teaser] Microsoft's still very gung-ho on paper about trying to really support the PC, but seems to be testing and teasing the water instead of just diving in, which is why it should surprise no one that 343 have announced that the PC will be getting 'Halo 5'....well, part of it, anyway. 343 will be releasing a special PC version of the Forge, 'Halo's admittedly impressive multiplayer map making mode. Aside from the obvious, that you can now create maps using a mouse and keyboard, the mode will also allow for 4K resolution, the ability to invite friends to test the map with you, and to share from Windows 10 straight to the Xbox One. Best of all, the mode will be completely free when it launches this year. Yes, it may not be 'Halo 5', but it is going to put a lot more creative power into the hands of their base. Come on in, Microsoft. The water's fine, really.. Order From Amazon Order From Amazon Order From Amazon Source: 343 IndustriesPosted Thu May 19, 2016 at 10:33 AM PDT by: -

Take a Long Look at 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood & Wine'[teaser]It's a looker.[/teaser] There's one more major milestone left in store for players of 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,' and that would be the big expansion DLC, 'Blood and Wine.' 'Blood and Wine' takes players to a new land, Toussaint, which is promised to be big. This shiny new area has a grander feel to it as it's promised to be unspoiled by war. That beautiful veneer will likely be challenged by the arrival of Geralt. So while it's a land of wine and golden-haired feelings, there is darkness as well, and it will be up to the player to root it out. Here's the new look- be aware that it contains light spoilers: 'Blood and Wine' is coming to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of 'The Witcher 3.' It is included 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Expansion Pass.' Source: CD Projekt REDPosted Thu May 19, 2016 at 08:47 AM PDT by: -

This Summer, 'Batman: Return to Akrham' Will Bring 'Arkham Asylum' & 'Arkham City' to the PS4 & Xbox One[teaser]With all the DLC & Unreal 4.[/teaser] At last, Warner Bros. has announced that 'Arkham Asylum' and 'Arkham City' will be made available on the PS4 and Xbox One. The two Unreal 3 titles plus their DLC are being being brought over to Unreal 4 and given some visual upgrades by Virtuous. Both games will be included under the title 'Batman: Return to Arkham.' Many of the visual upgrades will come via the Unreal 4 transition, which should mean better environment streaming, lighting, and texture mipping. Likewise, texture resolution can be bumped up all around (and tweaked in spots). Expect character models (especially for villains and heroes) to be stepped up to a degree. 'Batman: Return to Arkham' is being priced at $49.99 and is set to release on July 26th. For me, 'Arkham Asylum' is the true classic, though the above trailer does show certain parts of 'Arkham City' that are memorable. It's worth noting that 'Arkham Origins' has not been mentioned at all, and once again, I would point out that that game's multiplayer component is likely holding it back.
