'Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls' Arrives on Vita This October[teaser]Coming to North America and Europe.[/teaser] The latest game in Idea Factory's 'Hyperdimension Neptunia' series is a crossover with SEGA. Come October 18th in North America (October 21st in Europe), 'Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls' will release exclusively on PlayStation Vita. The role-playing game contains characters from 'Sega Hard Girls,' an anime that reimagines SEGA consoles (such as the Dreamcast and Sega Mark III) as teenage girls. The crossover is actually quite fitting as many 'Neptunia' characters are based off video game consoles (with series star Neptune being named after the cancelled SEGA system of the same name). The crossover is started when adventurer IF accidentally rewrites history, turning Neptune into a motorcycle and bringing the 'Sega Hard Girls' characters into Neptunia's world. Naturally, now the two groups must work together in order to save the world. Check out the game's first promotional trailer below: 'Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls' comes out exclusively for PlayStation Vita on October 18th in North America and October 21st in Europe. Jonathan Blow's 'The Witness' Arrives on Xbox One Next Month[teaser]Thekla Inc.'s game is set to puzzle more players.[/teaser] In January, Thekla Inc. released 'The Witness,' the latest puzzle game from 'Braid' creator Jonathan Blow, on PlayStation 4 and PC. Now Xbox One owners will be able to experience the difficult title, as it's set to release September 13th on Microsoft's all-in-one games and entertainment system Despite the wait, the Xbox One version of 'The Witness' will cost $39.99, just like its PS4 and PC counterparts. High-Def Digest's Levi van Tine reviewed the PC version of the game in January of this year, you can read his review to find out more. Check out Xbox One release trailer below: On Xbox.com, Jonathan Blow offered some advice for new players. "This is a game containing a lot of surprises. I recommend going into it without spoilers. If you get stuck, or something seems difficult, you can turn around and go somewhere else, and come back to the hard problem later," said Blow. "Elsewhere on the island you might find clues to the thing you’re stuck on, and you may have a very enjoyable experience when you make the right connections. On the other hand, if you look for answers in online videos and online forums, you’re likely to have an empty experience — you’ll know the answer, but you will have skipped over the good part of the experience. The most enjoyable part of this game is what happens in your mind when connections come together." 'The Witness' is out now on PlayStation 4 and PC. It releases on Xbox One September 13th. PlayStation Now Coming to PC Later This Year, DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor Also Announced[teaser]DualShock 4 USB wireless adaptor also announced.[/teaser] Sony's gaming streaming service will be coming to PC later this year. The company announced on their blog that PlayStation Now, which allows gamers to stream a library of over 400 PlayStation 3 games, will be launching in Europe "soon" and in North America "shortly thereafter." This significantly increases the service's reach as it's currently only available on PlayStation gaming systems, Sony Blu-ray players, and select Samsung and Sony TVs. Since PlayStation players will soon have a reason to be playing games on PC, the Japanese company also announced that a wireless adaptor for the DualShock 4 controller is also coming. This USB dongle will launch in early September and cost $24.99. It will work with both Windows and Mac computers, and allow players to use the DualShock 4 wirelessly on PC (as announced the adapter will enable every feature of the controller you know and love: buttons, analog sticks, touch pad, light bar, motion sensors, vibration, and stereo headset jack – as long as the gaming application supports these features. ). DualShock 4s will also work with PlayStation Now on PC using a USB cable. The wireless adapter cupports one controller at a time, but a second controller can be connected directly via USB cable for local multiplayer in PS Now games. PlayStation Now's subscription service currently features 400 games, and 50 new titles were added in June of this year. 'Metrico+' Out Today on PS4 & PC, Xbox One Version Delayed[teaser]Check out our review.[/teaser] 'Metrico+,' the enhanced version of PlayStation Vita puzzle platformer 'Metrico,' is out today on PlayStation 4 and PC. The second game from Dutch studio Digital Dreams was originally supposed to release on Xbox One today, but that version has been delayed. No reason was given for the delay, and the developer stated that "[the] release date is currently unknown." The only upside is that Xbox One owners can read High-Def Digest's review of 'Metrico+' while they wait. While not officially a sequel, 'Metrico+' builds upon the 2014 release by adding in over 40 new puzzles and new mechanics. Due to this the $13.99 title does not support cross-buy on PlayStation 4. Returning gamers aren't totally left in the dust, though, as those that own the Vita version will be able to get 'Metrico+' for a discounted price of $6.99. Digital Dreams has put out a new trailer to celebrate 'Metrico+'s PS4 and PC release. Watch it below: 'Metrico+' is out now on PlayStation 4 & PC for $13.99, and is set to release on Xbox One later this year. Source: Digital DreamsPosted Tue Aug 23, 2016 at 10:17 AM PDT by: -

'Disgaea 2' Heading to PC in Early 2017[teaser]Contains all content from the PSP release.[/teaser] NIS America has announced that they will be bringing their cult classic PS2 and PSP Strategy RPG 'Disgaea 2' to PC via Steam. Specifically, it will contain all content from the expanded PSP release 'Dark Hero Days'. It'll be available on January 30th. There will, in addition to the digital release, be an $80 physical special edition containing an art book, art prints, a mouse pad, desk mat, and a premium soundtrack for the first game. NIS describes the game as follows: Darkness is back. Overlord Zenon has cursed the land, and now, Veldime is transforming into a nasty Netherworld. Memories are sterilized, bodies demonized, the world is falling into chaos. The only one unaffected is a young man, Adell. He stands up to fight the curse, but things never go as planned. The haughty daughter of Zenon, a filthy little frog, lovable demon siblings and a washed-up rock star!? No one can ever predict what goes on in the world of Disgaea. And of course, other Overlords refuse to sit still watching… You can catch the announcement trailer right here: Though some view it as something of a black sheep within the franchise for its slightly more serious plot, it's a terrific game and one of my personal favorite entries. I'm eager to give this one another shot next year. Source: NIS AmericaPosted Tue Aug 23, 2016 at 06:08 AM PDT by:
