'Final Fantasy 7' Returning to PC – No Word on Graphical Improvements

A site belonging to Square Enix has the basic details, including the addition of cloud saves and a save editor.

'Final Fantasy 7' is probably the most demanded remake there is, and rumors of something new have been spreading around since the HD generation of consoles made its debut. Thusfar we've seen nothing, but a recent leak indicates that the game is, at the very least, going to be rereleased on PC.

There's no information on whether we'll see graphical improvements or not, but you can expect in-game achievements, cloud saves and even a character booster that lets you adjust your HP, MP and money.

Pricing comes in at 9.99 Euros, or $12.50. If it's not coming in HD though, we'd rather stick to the much prettier Final Fantasy Remix mods.

Treyarch is showing PC players some much needed love.

The 'Call of Duty' franchise is one that's, of course, playable on the PC. Still, it's most commonly associated with the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Part of that is the wide reach of consoles, but there's also the issue of a generally unenthused PC gamers.

Treyarch is reaching out to folks that opt for the keyboard and mouse by finally offering dedicated ranked PC servers for 'Black Ops II' – something that was in high demand in past games.

'Counter-Strike: Global Offensive' Comes Out for $15 on August 21st

It's coming to PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360 at the same time and for the same price.

Amidst all this E3 news, a poorly timed announcement from Valve got lost in the shuffle. A release date has been announced for their upcoming multiplayer shooter 'Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.' More interestingly, they also named a price.

When the game launches on August 21st, you'll be paying just $15. That's about as cheap as gaming gets, especially with a brand new title.

'Counter-Strike: GO' is, of course, hotly awaited on PC. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the PS3 and Xbox 360 launches though – there's a whole lot of competition there, and plenty of folks not familiar with the 'Counter-Strike' name.

'Star Wars: 1313' Gameplay Revealed

From the gameplay demo shown, we're looking at a cover based shooter with QTEs. It's nice looking though!

It's been a while since we've gotten a really good Star Wars game, but 'Star Wars: 1313' just might be it. The gameplay trailer shown at E3 is nice looking and gives off a very 'Call of Duty' vibe thanks to some giant set pieces and intense in-game cutscenes.

'Star Wars: 1313' has had a crazy amount of hype behind it even before we got to see anything about it. It's being called a "mature" game, though we have yet to see if that translates to an M rating. Based on what we've seen, it does have the grittiness of a modern shooter, but death by laser and a lack of blood means we'll probably see a Teen rating here.

The trailer is about five minutes long, but skip to the three minute mark if you just want to see the game in action.

Ubisoft Reveals the 'Watch Dogs' - Possible Game of the Show at E3 2012

It's too early to say yet, but this may be most exciting game of E3. It also might be our first look at a next-gen title.

The Ubisoft press conference could be described as painful, but only if you were to be really polite about it. The hosts were dreadful and the segment on eSports was so poorly done that, as much as we love our eSports, we just didn't want to watch.

Just when it seemed like all we'd see was a bit of 'Assassin's Creed 3,' Ubisoft surprised us all. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot came out to highlight a new IP – a brand new game without a 2 or a 3 behind it. The game is called 'Watch Dogs' and it may just be the game of the show.

It' s a bit hard to describe, but think GTA with futuristic hacking and incredible graphics. Check out the gameplay trailer to see it in action. Things start a little slow, but they build to a hectic and downright crazy climax. In the end, our hero hacks a traffic light to cause a car accident and then a gunfight ensues. It's pretty nuts.

One thing that has everyone scratching their heads is what system this game is coming out for. It looked too pretty for the 360 and PS3, and Ubisoft didn't specify what hardware it would be running on. We're guessing that this is the first game we've seen made for next-gen systems.

Unless Sony or Nintendo have something amazing up their sleeves, Ubisoft may be the ones dominating E3 talk this year.

'Diablo III' Hidden World Sticks it to the Critics

Mon May 21, 2012 at 11:30 AM ET
Tags: Diablo III, PC (all tags)

Spoiler Alert: This post contains information of one of the game's big secrets.

Easter eggs in Blizzard Games are a standard, and 'Diablo III' is no exception. The game's secret world has been discovered and it shows the sense of humor that Blizzard has about its products and its fans.

When 'Diablo III' was first shown, there was a bit of an uprising from some very outspoken fans regarding the look of the game. A rainbow in particular sparked the ire of these fans, causing countless threads online about the "toned down" and "whimsical" design.

Blizzard initially responded with an overly cutesy 'Diablo III' shirt, but the secret level placed in the game takes things even further. Titled Whimseyville, the area is full of rainbows, happy clouds, ponies and more.
